Poetry

Lost in Perpetuity

There is a place
and oh how man has
chased it
Since the first eyes opened
on the first human face
man has strained to know
its location
Reaching across oceans
To the four winds
scattering
to escape the
endless chatter
of unkempt minds
To find that place where
none
of
this
matters
